 Frequently asked questions about modular homes

    • The Victorian state government recently announced changes making it easier to build a small second dwelling on your property.

    • One of the changes made was to scrap the need for a planning permit. Some properties may still trigger the need based on the planning overlays on the property.

    • You can contact us for advice on property overlays or contact your local council.

  • Transport costs

    • The cost associated with the transport and unloading of a module is completely dependant on the site it is traveling to.

    • The size of our modules have been designed to fit onto the most cost effective truck transport. Vicroad permits are NOT required to transport our modules.

    Onsite costs

    • These cost are site specific. They will depend on the existing site level, access to exiting services (electricity, water and drainage)

    • Our modules have been designed so that only 6 foundation per module are required. This helps keep these costs as low as possible.

    • Absolutely. The structural frame of the module gives us a huge amount of flexibility and allows us to easily adapt the module to your personal requirements. Add/remove/change walls, doors, windows, cabinetry etc.
